Introduction: Birds are very picky in choosing their nest. That's what makes this project challenging. A bird house project involves science, craft and art. It is science because you need to learn about the birds and the factors that affect their decision in choosing a nest. It is crafts because you will make or assemble your own bird house. Finally it is art because you design the final look and decorate your bird house.

Material and step by step instructions In this project, you will make a wooden bird house and then test it in nature. This is a project that takes about a week to complete. The birdhouse will take a couple of days and then you must record your results over a span of 4 or 5 days in a table. You can use your completed bird house as a part of your display.
